BizzEnergy, the leading-edge retailer of electricity to businesses, has achieved exceptional success in the Sage Business Awards 2002 in partnership with The Daily Telegraph. BizzEnergy has reached the finals in all three categories it entered in the awards, which are designed to recognise and reward successful businesses in the UK.
BizzEnergy, which employs 40 people and is based in Worcester, has experienced remarkable growth in sales and customer numbers since it began trading two years ago. BizzEnergy is a finalist in the 'Best Growth through use of technology' award, which looks at the direct correlation between the implementation of an IT solution and growth in profits, customer base or employees. For the 'Fastest Growing Business' award, which BizzEnergy is also a finalist in, judges looked for businesses that are always looking to exploit new opportunities and markets and are constantly revisiting processes, products, and services to make sure they stay ahead of the competition.
BizzEnergy Chief Executive Eddie Hyams has also reached the finals in 'Best Business Leader', for which he was nominated by the employees of BizzEnergy. Key skills judges are looking for in this category include vision, influence, dedication, an ability to communicate at all levels and, above all, treating people with fairness and respect.
BizzEnergy Director of Marketing, Sussanne Chambers said, "It is a great endorsement of the commitment of the people and the business strategy at BizzEnergy to reach the finals in all three categories of these prestigious awards.
