BizzEnergy welcomes the publication Ofgem’s fact sheet on Smart Metering

Following the recent publication of a fact sheet on Smart Metering by Ofgem, BizzEnergy are delighted to have been amongst the first suppliers in the country to offer Smart metering to their customers, through their innovative Smart Choice package launched in 2004. Smart Meters are a new way to monitor consumption, and replace existing meters with the latest technology. The new meters automatically capture readings in a much higher frequency than the traditional manual process, and can even provide readings at half hourly intervals if required. For small and medium size companies this breakthrough allows them to monitor consumption, improving energy management and providing essential data on usage patterns for energy efficiency assessments. With the actual readings being used by BizzEnergy for billing purposes, estimated bills become a thing of the past, reducing queries, and helping customers to manage their energy costs better.
