Going Green in 2006

We recognise that for many customers the only thing holding them back from switching to more environmentally friendly electricity products is the cost, and so have recently offered a number of our existing customers the option to switch to fully green electricity for a one off fee of just £20.

Steve Fletcher, CEO at BizzEnergy says “We are delighted to offer this low cost scheme to help customers switch to electricity generated from fully renewable sources. Reducing carbon emissions is one of the next big issues for businesses to tackle – switching to Green Choice takes a few seconds, but allows a site to cut the carbon emissions associated with their electricity supply to zero.”

Customers who switch are provided with a certificate confirming they have chosen a 100% renewable electricity source, and BizzEnergy also make a donation to the charity Trees For Life to purchase and plant a tree for every customer that takes up this offer.

The National Tramway Museum (in Crich, Derbyshire) have recently upgraded to Green Choice with this scheme, and are delighted : “As promoters of green transport, in the form of tramways, being seen as consumers of Green Energy is an important step for us in reinforcing our green credentials.”
